Looking back at my father’s life ended up giving me everything I really needed. You see, his goal in life was simple: He just wanted to make the world a little better than when he came here. My dad had it right all along. He lived out his purpose every day. He loved his family, believed in people, and always stood by his word. He taught me to be thankful for the people in my life, and encouraged me to inspire others. Honesty, integrity, selfless giving, the importance of character—he embodied all those universal life principles, and he shared their values with me. My dad also taught me that everyone has their own unique gift. In life and in business, there’s always a positive impact when we encourage others to use their gifts. We just have to get the right people in the right place. The eleven52 movement carries on his legacy, and allows others impart wisdom of their own. We’re all experiencing life together. None of us can go at it alone. When we remember that, reflect on our past, engage with the present, and grow for a brighter a future, we’re all making the world a little better. Every day, at 11:52am.
